How does this jive with the repeated mantra from Democrats that there IS NO ELECTION FRAUD? I've heard that for decades, yet there appears to be a rather large number of false voter registration going on. The dead seem to be particularly active. I have to go request an absentee ballot. Might as well ask some pointed questions while I'm there. I think I'll start with, "What happens when a voter registration is verified deceased by the SSA?" Then I will follow it up with, "Does that result in a criminal referral for fraud?" I bet I don't get any actual answers. At best I expect a shoulder shrug and a word salad.
The decisions, I believe, are made at the state level. I am not sure the purpose of this database other than to rub into the face of Americans that your elections no longer matter, your vote is worthless. Election commissions are stacked in the battleground states with corrupt officials, so they don't care.

They can buy "valid" SSNs off the dark web, or bad actors can buy numbers on their behalf. AFAIK HAVV just validates the last the SSN (or last 4 digits) and does not reconcile the name to the number.
But we're not talking about SSNs for work purposes. This has to do with applications for voting, which is almost more scary. Remember Congressional apportions and Electoral College has to do with the census and voters.

It can't be fixed unless we KNOW what's happening and have verifiable proof. This is at least a step in the right direction.
