Reminds me of the Holocaust and the German Officers claiming they were only following orders. That did not work out well for them.

This is actually heartening to me, because it means the government realizes they messed up bad, and that they are potentially culpable, so they are blaming someone else.

This is when the war starts. This war will eventually assign responsibility for the terrible damage done.

It is possible that, ultimately, the governments, Physicians, and corporations will blame all of us individuals for being so stupid as to listen to them.

And there is a sense in which that is entirely appropriate.

But the good news is, the truth is gradually going to come out.

And the people, in general, are going to realize they have a reason to be very, very angry.

Yes, was aware of this a few weeks back. Nice, huh?

To your point, Dr. Brown, about the impact on the practice of medicine, here is the last section of my seven-page letter to Florida's Surgeon General, Dr. Joseph Ladapo:

"AN ONGOING GLOBAL CRIME

Lastly, I wanted to thank you for your bravery and honesty in speaking out in our current age of censorship and personal destruction. Meanwhile, a government-initiated, “public health”-policy driven, media aided-and-abetted crime is ongoing – a global crime against humanity.

Sadly, way too many in the practice of medicine have also participated in this crime. Ironically, one of its many casualties will be their profession’s destruction and that of medicine as we know it. 𝑰𝒕’𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈. You and other good, honest doctors such as the ones I’ve cited and so many others pushing back against this massive crime will be the ones to help re-imagine and rebuild the true art of 𝑤𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠. As for the others? I will end with the last line of the original Hippocratic Oath, translated from the Greek in 2002 by Michael North, National Library of Medicine:

“So long as I maintain this Oath faithfully and without corruption, may it be granted to me to partake of life fully and the practice of my art, gaining the respect of all men for all time. However, should I transgress this Oath and violate it, may the opposite be my fate.”

Godspeed, Dr. Ladapo."

I have found the conduct of the "average" doctor during all of this completely unsurprising and expected. The ones who stepped out? They have already redeemed themselves as will history.
