This is 3 minutes of “must watch YouTube”. I have followed Scott Adams on Twitter for many years. Since covid and vaccines came out, he has been very pro vaccine. He has torked off many followers with his follow the science narrative and pro vaccine stance. He is himself vaccinated multiple times, and proudly stated such.
Not quite. In fact, not even close. Every time he says "antivaxxers won", his disingenuousness rises more and more to the top. The fact he used the term "antivaxxer" already speaks volumes. He then makes it very clear that "we" won due to heuristics and some incredible distrust of government and authority, whereas his "losing" position was in spite of all his fancy "analytics". If he had contritely admitted that he misinterpreted the data or, in fact, his heuristic of blindly trusting the government and other "experts" is what landed him in the legitimately uncomfortable position of unknown, long term potentially adverse consequences of being "vaccinated", whereas our strict adherence to the evidence is what kept us safe then sure, it is what you say it is.
I've watched this video before, and I agree with what has been said elsewhere. This is not a "win" for us. You think I enjoy being right about something that 80% of the people I know took? And we are left with a couple of messes. We want to know why this even had to happen to begin with. If the official narrative came off to tell us it was engineered in a lab and that Covid had been "gain of functioned" to cause more long term problems, this I might be inclined to believe it. But for the most part, this all appears to be a whole crap ton of panic that never had to happen.
Jennifer, you are saving lives every day by exposing the side effects of MRNA vaccines. It takes courage to publicly flip on this issue, as did Scott Adams, and to bring these issues to the public as you have done. I’m happy to see such blind advocacy for the vaccines begin to wane and measured exposure of the documented serious side effects be more accessible. It’s people like you bringing this to those that otherwise would not know. I admire your courageous straightforward approach knowing the road you are traveling is long and winding. It may be easier now for you, but when you started, you risked it all to report the facts. Please continue to keep us current on the big picture. Your followers will continue to pay it forward.
Wake up calls do not matter if the newly awakened go on supporting the political regime that did this to us. Anyone who acknowledges that vaccine mandates were wrong has to take political action to permanently remove authoritarian technocrats from positions of political responsibility. The totalitarian left imposed the mandates along with many other outrages in recent years such as riots, urban decay, inflation, upward wealth distribution, sexualization of children, drug addiction, and corruption of science and education. The vaccine mass death event is just one horrific symptom of the anti-human policies of the left. None of this will be over until enough Americans join together to end it in the next election. Vote as if your lives depend on it, because they do.
As others have said, nobody “won.” The zero sum mindset Adams seems unable to escape is unproductive and perpetuates a key aspect of the programmed narrative: division. He is seemingly wiping the sleep from his eyes, but clearly has not woken up.
Thanks Jennifer, and congratulations on your breakthrough with your parents. That's truly remarkable. As you imply, it's a good sign. Adams' epiphany is indeed welcome progress, but he is still trapped in a counter productive mindset, not least by framing things as a contest. Zero Exaggeration. MSM is flipping, and whether you took the vaccine or not, we need to ban together as one and have Hope that there isn’t a colossal event. There was too much of a majority population that received it, it would be cataclysmic in which a world the unvaccinated would never want.
