Scott Adams, the creator of the Dilbert comic, has done a 180 turn on covid vaccines
This is 3 minutes of “must watch YouTube”. I have followed Scott Adams on Twitter for many years. Since covid and vaccines came out, he has been very pro vaccine. He has torked off many followers with his follow the science narrative and pro vaccine stance. He is himself vaccinated multiple times, and proudly stated such.
He has had a massive wake up call. Watching what he says in this video is about as big of a change in stance as one can witness. This would be the equivalent of Ron DeSantis coming out and saying he loves covid mandates and wants Joe Biden to lock down Florida.
I do believe we will see more of these proclamations as time goes by. The vaccinated are starting to see the writing on the wall and realizing they were duped. My parents have. My father stated a couple weeks ago “you have been right all along”. It isn’t that I wanted to be right……lord knows I wish I was wrong and these were safe for people. But many many vaccinated people have realized what they did and they are now scared. Understandably so.
Scott has a pretty big platform to speak from. I am curious what his followers will do with this revelation he has dropped. Enjoy the video!
Not quite. In fact, not even close. Every time he says "antivaxxers won", his disingenuousness rises more and more to the top. The fact he used the term "antivaxxer" already speaks volumes. He then makes it very clear that "we" won due to heuristics and some incredible distrust of government and authority, whereas his "losing" position was in spite of all his fancy "analytics". If he had contritely admitted that he misinterpreted the data or, in fact, his heuristic of blindly trusting the government and other "experts" is what landed him in the legitimately uncomfortable position of unknown, long term potentially adverse consequences of being "vaccinated", whereas our strict adherence to the evidence is what kept us safe then sure, it is what you say it is.
I've watched this video before, and I agree with what has been said elsewhere. This is not a "win" for us. You think I enjoy being right about something that 80% of the people I know took? And we are left with a couple of messes. We want to know why this even had to happen to begin with. If the official narrative came off to tell us it was engineered in a lab and that Covid had been "gain of functioned" to cause more long term problems, this I might be inclined to believe it. But for the most part, this all appears to be a whole crap ton of panic that never had to happen.
