Having lived out west for over 50 years and having attended more than one mega church, I can fully understand why an ad blitz would target mega churches in the west.

First, money (Isn't it always). Mega churches are targeted for their concentration of money in a wealthy area.

Second, ease. Mega churches are easily geo-fenced because of their size.

Third, space. Mega churches by definition must be in control of extensive space which means there will be space for you.

Fourth, leadership. Mega churches have a plethora of programs led by a myriad of leaders, so getting buy-in might be difficult or simple depending upon your marketeer.

Fifth, demographic (could have been first). Pretty obvious. Mega churches have all you are looking for.

Yes, we are in a spiritual war.

Having said all this, is it safe to go to a mega church?

If they are preaching the Word, yes. Be a Berean.

But, always keep your eyes open for the ravenous wolves hiding among the sheep. Even in a mega church, they are always lurking.

It IS a spiritual battle. Do not think that the ultimate "powers that be" behind this campaign are Jewish. They are not. They are Lucifarian. They are working on fomenting WW3 between Israel and the Muslims. A war in the Middle Eastern War involving Judaism and Islam which would then spread internationally.

Albert Pike - who they commissioned to document their goals - stated their objective as being to “unleash the nihilist and the atheists and provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in its horror will show clearly the effect of absolute atheism, savagery and the most bloody turmoil… until the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity… will receive the pure light through the pure doctrine of Lucifer.”

Highly concerning indeed, but good that this has happened to raise public awareness of geofencing at events.

No question this technology is deployed in many public areas and events.

Complete power off or faraday bag is the remedy.

Or just leave the cell phone at home.

It’s not easy to get off the grid.

It is more than concerning. Best options: Leave these Mega churches. They are wrong theologically and they are unhealthy, overly spiritualized, showmanship for dollars. Get rid of your smartphone. Contact the local authorities and ask them to investigate this invasion of your privacy.

Dr. Brown, perhaps you don't realize how many times you are geofenced - at malls, city festivals, sporting events, churches, schools, rallies - for the purpose of targeted ads based on your location or interests. It's a way of life nowadays. Anti-Israel entities are certainly geofencing and undeniably targeting students/faculty at America's universities with their ads and messages. Why is it wrong for pro-Israel entities to geofence and target with ads people attending churches having an affinity for the Judeo-Christian message and land? Tourism accounts for a significant portion of Israel's GDP. Can we fault them for trying to win back Christian tourists? We apply a double standard when anti-Israel messages are met with silence while pro-Israel messages are met with contempt.

Without dispensationalists, would any non-Jewish American support Israel? Not many, I'd guess. They are tapping into what they see as their base of supporters, Christians who adhere to the view that "Israel" in the Bible is one and the same as the nation of Israel formed in 1948. If these people are targets, it's because they are camped out on the shooting range.
