This was not a coincidence or accident.

Management declares the employees are the heart of the business and then cuts out the heart. That isn’t an accident or coincidence. Management set out to intentionally destroy Harley-Davidson. The share holders (company owners) have been betrayed. May the Courts have no mercy.

I won’t knock India or Thailand. It’s not their fault this happened. India makes a decent motorcycle and I know for a fact that Thailand made a good Honda bike clone in the 1990s. But Harley-Davidson’s established identity is The American Motorcycle. Not a “made in Thailand” copy of their former selves.

They want to crush our spirit before we are dead.

I hope the Union sues them and wins, requiring that all bikes produced outside the US cannot be sold in the US.

With a $100,000 fine for each bike produced outside the country that is sold in the United States. These fines should be divided between former employees at the KC plant.

Great article!!! These people running Harley are same type people sitting in the White House right now. Total DEI, total anti-American. Harley wants you to buy the image (Easy Rider, Born to be Wild, Bad to the Bone). Forget the fact that they are farming all their work to India (office) and Thailand. The American workers that are left are DEI placements. Screw them losers.

I bought my first 2 bikes at Gails! What probably looked like a crappy situation back then has to look much brighter to her today!

Well I read that she still owns Shawnee Cycle & Powersports but is not involved in the day to day operations. Another article I read on Harley several months ago said used bikes, which went at a premium during the supply chain mess a few years ago are now upside down, so buyers looking to upgrade to a new bike are disappointed in what their old one fetches.
