Never been a bike rider, but even I know Mom, Apple pie, and Harley Davidson are up there with the American Flag.

Disgusting!

These are the types of difficult decisions all of us have to make it we want structural reform. This guy Starbuck is doing an incredible job, and our troops are finally marching.

Absolutely. Difficult times make strong men (and women). You have to stand for something or you will fall for anything! As hard as this is to swallow…….I know what I will have to do. I will not stand for what they have done. Lord knows we have all had to stand tall and strong for our beliefs for numerous reasons the last 4 years. This is about to be another one of those moments. 🙏🏻

My dad bought several Harleys in the 1980s and 1990s that he rode on the weekends. Beautiful bikes. The brand really was built by baby boomers who were prospering and made the brand what it is. HD ran into trouble in the 2000s as they started aging out of buying motorcycles and the brand failed to appeal to the younger generation. Also the price is prohibitive particularly in this economy for younger people. I would suspect part of the reason HD went woke was to help with younger market share and instead they have just destroyed the brand and turned off their loyal base. Many will have your sentiment when they purchase their next bike. I hope they can get back to basics.

Absolutely correct. Harley has had a branding problem for awhile now. They went hard in the paint to attract women riders as a new demographic when the boomers started aging out. Even made motorcycles that were more women rider friendly ergonomically speaking. But women riders are few. They cannot sustain by selling to women as their primary consumer. And they just cannot find a way appeal to the younger generations. The younger generations are buying sport bikes. They are cheaper and affordable. The appeal of riding cross country on a touring bike isn’t what the younger people want.

The scary part is Harley already knows that the electric bike is a failure for them. They launched the Live Wire a few years ago. It flopped badly. Within a year of launch, you never saw one in the dealerships anywhere. The crowd that wanted an EV found one for half the price without a harley sticker on it and bought that instead.

This may be the death knell for Harley. They have the option to go back to the basics or lose the base they have. It will be a very interesting winter to see what Harley decides to do before the formal riding season launches again next spring.

Does anyone really think the destruction of the Harley-Davidson brand was NOT the goal here? Those who want us dead don’t want a symbol of individualistic empowerment roaring around the streets! For them a Vespa is too strong a symbol. We are all supposed to ride buses and streetcars if we get transportation at all. Subways are the best because we unwashed are kept mostly out of sight and our betters won’t have to look at us. A vehicle that empowers the rider and grabs attention is not suitable for the masses. They want to kill our spirit first.

You are spot on.

Also, looked at a showroom full of Royal Enfields today and thought of you! 🥳

I am attracted to the Classic 350 and/or the Shotgun 650. The old British Bike vibe does it for me. I have resisted a visit to the showroom thus far. Like Oscar Wilde said, “I can resist anything but temptation.” How much longer will I hold out?

I have been watching the wokeness at HD since they announced the ridiculous EV bike. Really? A “quiet” Harley? What’s the point? I was really impressed (insert eye roll here) by the range on the new EV. I bet that heavy pig is a drag to push when you run out of juice.

Please post the DEI mission statement of the owners of the Harley manufacturing plant in Thailand. Can't find it? I didn't think so.

The reason this is happening is that the WEF Cabal - Blackrock/Gates/State St/Big BanksIMF et.al. want to shut down miscreants like Harley owners - force them into EVs and if the company loses money so what? If it goes out of business - mission accomplished.

You guys are the enemy and your hogs spew out harmful carbons. In addition YOU are the carbon that needs to be eliminated - "for the common good"
