I looked up the side effects and one was suicidal thoughts or actions. That is a lot of money to end up with the opposite effect. It affects GABA and is ‘thought’ to work by rebalancing the brain functions like mood, arousal, behavior and cognition. Not only is this a no, but a HELL no. They don’t even know what functions they are really messing with. How many doctors are going to get kickbacks to prescribe this.

How many doctors will get kickback? = All of them.

All of the "antidepressants" have "suicidal thoughts or actions" as side effects. I've not seen one that doesn't, but there's so many I don't know if I've seen them all.

Nailed it! Also, it’s a controlled 4 med, so women cannot breastfeed while using it. So you take a postpartum mom that is already depressed and not bonding with baby, and then you take AWAY the BEST bonding opportunity of breastfeeding and pump and dump for 14 days……moms will give up breastfeeding, a bonding opportunity…….. keep an eye on OBGYN for who is getting kickbacks. That is the target audience for this new drug!

There is NO WAY it “helps” women. All that we have learned from Big Pharma in the past few years- especially listening to the heroic Dr Breggin- all anti depressants injure the brain in some way. They want all of us brain dead, catatonic and weak so the masses won’t FIGHT BACK against these MONSTERS!!!!

"The price tag on those 14 pills? $15,900. HOLY SHIT." - my thoughts exactly! WTH?? The insane part of the whole fascist construction of things is that people actually think that this crap works. Thanks Jennifer. Peace.

My first thoughts exactly.

Does it work?

What are the side effects?

For 15 grand, that'll pay for a lot of non-drug therapy.

Don’t worry. They have a solid, proven plan to make sure that it will only cost each patient $1 a pill. It’ll still cost $15,900 but the other $15,899 will be paid by the US taxpayer.

ha ha!!

I'd rather spend that money on a huge diamond ring or a fabulous travelling holiday for a few months or as a down payment on a little property to rent out for some income or even on a patch of land to grow my own Organic food to avoid all the fruit & veg sprayed with toxic Bill Gates death spray 'Apeel'

But I guess they're expecting the insurance companies to pay for this - what a gross, venal, greedy, vapid world we're all living in - but 'they' are already trying to death jab everyone so I guess this is small fry

There are other natural solutions to Post Natal Depression - I bet those pills have a nice mRNA coating on them for you & your newborn

The world has become a compilation of every futuristic horror story written by the classic sci-fi novelists!

A few thoughts about clown world:

1) Is there a greater percentage of people with depression (postpartum & the other myriad named) compared to (reported-studied-detailed in data) past?

2) What changes have been made to treatment during the last 50 years that actually improved a patient's condition, long-term? (Add-a-symptom, add a new pill! Don't get me started on contra-indications, gang.)

3) Self identified sickness used to be more limited to med students studying diseases, but with Big Pharma adverts everywhere, it's no wonder Dick, Jane & Spot need Big Help.

4) How we define happiness, satisfaction and joy is so subjective IMHO we'll never cure depression and the established pharma-med-$ train will never arrive at the station.

#4 hits the nail on the head. I had a patient today who says “I am just not feeling happy”. I said “well, happy is subjective. Happy is a choice. You can look at a glass half full or half empty, you can find happy if you want to find happy. It takes work to find your happy”. They were not happy that I couldn’t produce a pill to create this. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Happiness is subjective. When I was much younger, I did a bit of research into that "happily ever after" thing at the end of Fairy Tales. It turns out that "happiness" way back when those stories were created involved having enough to eat, a warm/dry place to sleep, and relatively good health. That constituted a Happy Life. These are things that are taken for granted now. Once I learned this, it helped me to adjust my expectations and be grateful for all the blessings in my life. As we used to say in the C-130 world: Hard billets are good billets.

I know we are living in Clown World, but why does Pennywise have to be in charge?

Wonder how this drug stacks up against ECT? A lot cheaper, no adverse side effects, proven "safe and effective" because it is, and paid for by health insurance. Unless you think the Pharma cash cow is actually a "cure."

I would even encourage TMS therapy in this situation. Non pharm, 8 weeks and done with treatment, no chemicals…….and it is definitely not the cash cow that $1200 per month and $15000 for 14 day drugs are!

Hey doc what do you know about the orphan drug xyrem? It’s prescribed for narcolepsy . Near as I can tell it’s legal GHB. I was prescribed it ten years ago when I was thought to be narcoleptic . I’m not. Story for another day. When I took the drug it cost 5K a month w/o ins. By the time I took myself off of it it was up to 10k/mo. There was a huge hustle to find a market for this drug about 5 years ago.

You are correct. The active ingredient is a form of GHB!
