The Air Line Pilot Association magazine publishes all deaths of commercial pilots ─ an understandably unified cadre. Deaths in 2019 – 1. Deaths in 2020 – 6. Deaths in 2021 – 111 which is an increase of 1,750%. Nothing to see here, folks.

Thank you for this. Despite everything, I still wanted to see the numbers above for myself, so I set out to find the source. I was immediately inundated with pages and pages of 'Fact Checkers' claiming disinformation, which almost proves in and of itself that it is true. Then I saw mainstream media articles promoting the Fact Checker narrative and making direct reference to the ALPA magazine list , while taking great care not to provide a link to said list. Getting warmer! There were also plenty of independent media sources citing statistics similar to yours - warmer still. And finally, I found a dead link on Reddit, which has obviously been censored. So, for my own purposes, it's near enough dead to rights. Nevertheless, I still cannot find the original source. It's obviously been buried or at least made hard to find. If you can share it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks again!
