Some of you may have heard that 3 soccer players went down this weekend from seizure and cardiac issues. We also had a tennis player collapse during their match. As always, our prayers go to the families mourning the sudden loss of a loved one, and prayers for safety for those around us daily. ❤️ Sadly, the stories below are just a few from those posted the last couple of days.

I'm looking at all of the specialized medical care that my grandparents needed to live much past 70, and what other younger relatives have needed to make it past 50. Yes, heart attacks and strokes can definitely have their odds reduced, but accidents happen. Even if my health follows the trajectory of my longest lived and healthiest relatives, I don't make it much past 50 without a functional healthcare system.
Here's hoping that intermittent fasting helps, it's one tool my grandparents didn't know about when they were my age.
