WARNING! Ancient History Alert: I was in the Air Force during the Clinton Administration. At that point I had served in a unit designated as Special Ops. It is nowhere near as glamorous as it sounds. Don't be impressed. Anyway, right after Wicked Willie was elected for a second term, I and a great many other current and former Special Operators received a survey. It was designed to assess our willingness to conduct operations within the US against US citizens. To my knowledge, none of those surveys were returned. So Clinton was VERY willing to use the military against US civilians. Then the much reviled Bush 2 made it quite clear that this was not allowed. Then Obama actually targeted US civilians. There is no evidence Trump engaged in this reprehensible activity. But now we have Biden reviving the idea and making it "legal". Does anyone else see a pattern? I would say "they want us dead", but it appears that it is mostly Democrats who want us dead.
Interesting hypothesis. I think party affiliation matters less now. More like a financial gang alliance, since the thread running through the country's fabric is money.
The club started with Socialist Democrats but it's not a requirement for membership, obvs.
Dear BetterOffRed, I was merely placing the Presidents into the categories Pro Military Assassination Of Civilians (Clinton, Obama, Biden) and Anti Military Assassination Of Civilians (Bush, Trump). I'm sure there are many RINOs who would love to have the military settle their scores.
I'm not sure about anything, anymore. I never saw either Bush without my rose colored glasses. I read the biographies, the collaborators' memoirs and I've concluded that no one gets my trust. Coming out of retirement to assist Trump was code for "We're with the Government and We're here to Help "
