Remember Jim Jones, Guyana, and Jonestown massacre, people just obey some authority figure and off they go to their deaths. Our authority figures - government, doctors, Fauci's, aren't much different. When will people think for themselves again? Critical Thinking Skills 101.

WWII taught my parents a lot.

I was born in a time of safety (1957).

In a time of peace and safety, people become complacent and Critical Thinking Skills are numbed.

Between WWII and now, we forgot Korea, Vietnam.

Then, a gap until 9/11, which awakened a nation, but most went right back to numb.

Covid shocked many more to life, but even more shocking is how quickly they went back to numb and some still wear diapers.

More are now awake and using their Critical Thinking Skills, but the numbers, compared to the masses are still minute.

Never forget, history records that before Pearl Harbor, most Americans were numb, if not sound asleep.

At least now, we have the internet.

Very well put, but the Internet is responsible for much of the numbness especially in our youth. The smart phone is a drug being pushed on our kids. Once addicted, it is hard to get off it.

The internet is an addiction, or a tool.

When Milton came through, my wife didn't know what to do without her wifi.

I told her read a book.
