Another interesting post Jennifer and a topic I have had in mind for a few days - so very timely. I had a conversation with my daughter the other day re sunscreen. She was on holiday in Britttany and she said all the parents were slapping factor 50 on their kid's bodies repeatedly and did I know if 1) sunscreen contained any nasty ingredients? and 2) was all the talk about skin cancer just another manifestation of fear porn? I didn't have answers to either but it has been on my mind to do a bit of digging. You have just prompted me.
Personally, I do not wear sunscreen. I wear long sleeves to protect from the sun when I am going to be in long term exposure but on average I will let my body absorb the much needed sunshine for vitamin D synthesis. You are correct, sunscreen has horrible ingredients that absorb through your skin, and in the last 1-2 years we saw a list of 30+ sunscreens with known carcinogens in them. Benzene being a biggie. You are hunting the right trail friend…..😎
You do an amazing job covering a wide variety of subjects, and I thank you for that. Vitamin D / sunshine used to be the main weapon against TB. I am in healthcare. About 4 years ago the CDC stopped recommending the annual TB test. This was replaced by a screening. Ever since I have been suspicious that these tests were not as innocuous as they should have been. However, I have been unable to find any information about the possible dangers of TB tests, or why in fact they dropped this for healthcare providers and educators. (I avoided them as much as I could.)I would love it if you could dive into this for one of your articles . Thank you again!

Thanks Jennifer. Great info. Peace.
Side effect of city life with parent(s) working is children spend little to no time outdoors.
Naturally, their vitamin D levels will continue to drop until it stabilizes.
Small wonder supplements showed a positive result.
Instead of preaching "Better Living Through Chemicals" we should be encouraging parents to get the kids outdoors to the parks and playgrounds.
Joe 100% correct.
Here's my take on healthy living & our innate natural healing miracle.

Thanks Jennifer. Excellent post. Very informative.
Get nekked in the sunshine for the only real "Vitamin" D. Taking care not to offend neighbours & those of an aversion to naked bodies!
