In the world we have all lived in for the last 6 days, with so much chaos and pain, grieving and self reflection, I stumbled upon a message from a wise spiritual leader.
Dr. F, thank you for broaching this topic. The key to your position is “honoring God’s will” which is an aspiration ridiculed in our time. We will remain stalwart.
Political Correctness was invented by the Soviet Russians during the time of Lenin. It is to muzzle free speech and anesthetize public discourse.
Here is your topic word “tolerate” defined by Webster in 1828 and by Merriam-Webster in 2025. Notice the drift.
See also what’s happened to the word discrimination, no longer usable in its more general sense.

to put up with
learn to tolerate one another
<>
DISCRIMINATION, noun

2025

The mask is also a good example. We refused to wear them and didn’t tolerate anyone mandating covering our faces to enter the public arena. Even here in TX, most people just went along with it. And some of them that didn’t agree with masking but did it anyway would ask me what the big deal was if it made people feel better. As if we were the problem and not the unconstitutional mandates that came down in every state. Not all of us just went along with it and that is why a tireless and determined small group of people can change history.
I rejected the idea of the vax shortly after listening to a couple of epidemiologist speaking about c19. I hate anything over my face (somewhat claustrophobic) so refused to wear a mask. I was thrown out of my doctor (of 25+years) office and told never to return. I never minded the distance thing as I like my personal space.
I never demanded others follow my lead. I did try to speak to them about overreacting but as can be imagined... that didn't work out too well.
"Tolerance is not a virtue….." when "they" actually are trying to kill you and when "they" are "leaders" in US government and leaders in the chinese communist party/people's liberation army and when "they" are those "they" incite to violence
By any and every means "they" can - "they" actually are trying to kill you.
We may have tolerated some of the covid nonsense, but all that was nothing more than opinions...seldom facts...a fake pandemic using a fake virus. All pushed by fake authorities.
Most people instantly fell into the "cult" groove and therefore took on the mindset of the leaders and those around them who never question anything. Many are still living under that fear of death.
It was the fear of death controlling the majority as they fell prey to the invalids running the asylum. Screw 'em all. We have no control over what others think, believe and do.
Thinking your own way is the only way to think even though you may win no popularity contests, quite likely be wrong at times or risk that others may murder you for your beliefs.
For my part, when I immediately realized how dangerous covid injections would be, based upon every prior failed effort manipulating mRNA resulting in death to the "volunteer," I gently, respectfully, and with evidence tried to educate everyone I knew and cared about NOT to take the injection.
I lost some indignant "friends" who told me we could NOT get together again until after I got the shot. But if I hadn't tried to keep them safe, I would now feel guilty for their suffering serious health problems as a result of their "leap of faith," as one called her getting the shot.
I got threatened by one now-ex acquaintance for sharing government data on Zuckerbook, because "it might convince people on the edge of deciding not to get the shots."
I blocked him and multiple mutual friends for some virtual distance after the threat.
most of my few friends and slightly larger number of acquaintances and coworkers just laughed it off, which I found preferable. after all, it's their body to risk, not mine, and I at least tried to warn them while making my own stand.
Tolerance of evil is furtherance of evil. And those who are pushing the evil want us dead.
I have to admit I used all of the pandemic attacks on freedom against those I knew who supported them. One of my favorite digs was to wear a mask I made with the text of The Second Amendment emblazoned on it. The more fragile among us would get offended. So I would offer to take it off. The death spiral of conflicting thoughts would soon overtake them and they would vapor lock.
Stepping just inside the six foot separation delineated on many public floors would also cause a case of the vapors. When the offended managed to demand that I retreat, I would reply, “No, you move.” Again, vapor lock.
As far as the lock down went, I just ignored it. That REALLY made True Believers angry. I am not tolerant of anyone that wants to control me.
Very true. I did tell people that I did not get vaccinated and why. My son asked me if he should. I told him it was his decision and to read all the evidence available. He decided against it and never had covid. The rest of my family all had the shots and boosters and did not want to talk about it. I accepted their decision even though I didn't think it was a good idea. Seeing people hounded because they spoke out shocked me tremendously and totally changed my mind regarding the narrative. Initially I would have just disregarded what some people were saying as nonsense, but after seeing what happened to good people because they stood up for what they believed, I no longer believed what was written in the press and given out on tv.
I knew I wasn't standard when I was open and public about my views (and government data which was available but contradicted their press releases) regarding convid and the injections.
people have always pointed "crackpot" at me though, all the way back to the beginning of grade school, for reading up on many, many things they couldn't (or wouldn't allow themselves to) consider as potentially accurate. so I didn't care about their opinions based on decades of thickening my skin.
it did sadden me that otherwise smart and coherent people outright refused to read that government data, like the publicly accessible initial Pfizer eua application on file with the Fooled and Drugged Admin and its 1200+ nasty side effects, and mouse images of body wide biodistribution and cell-nuclei penetration. or the fact that even though They'd been openly experimenting on animals with mRNA since 1995, it'd never given safe enough results to approve it for humans anywhere in the world. (never mind the food-pig mRNA "vaccines" approved and beginning industrial use in 2016... we aren't supposed to care about that.)
but I guess I should be proud to be one of the crackpots who was loudly against the whole thing from the last few months of 2019 when They blatantly started the march towards the Medical State of Emergency. especially since so many of the things that were obvious to laymen (like me) that early are slowly being verified in peer reviewed studies as well as tons of anecdotal evidence.
My tolerance for Liberals was left at the speeding bullet that ended Charlie Kirk’s life ! I think you missed the point GOD TAUGHT THAT TOLERANCE IS A VIRTUE , and to forgive rather than revenge . During the Covid scare brought to us by Nancy + Democrats I along with many others neither remained silent nor refused to be shunned it was the Fauci’s of the Democrats + MSM that vilified non believers who refused the shot ! Put the blame for all that has happened in America in the past 40 years where it belongs. THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY + their ilk !
Hi Justin- I actually listened to a well respected theologian this past weekend who stated tolerance is not one of the virtues taught in the Bible. - Since I’m by nature a curious man, love facts and statistics- I went the extra step to confirm. Here’s where the word tolerance entered the world: (after you read- you might find some similarities to our modern world conflicts): Tolerance as a virtue primarily emerged in response to widespread religious conflict during the early modern period, particularly in 17th-century Europe, championed by thinkers like Sebastian Castellio and promoted through liberal philosophy and political discourse to limit coercion by the Church and state. It stems from the Latin word "tolerare," meaning to bear or endure, and reflects the idea of putting up with objectionable beliefs or actions to foster harmony and a common good, though the exact nature and limits of this virtue are subject to ongoing debate. 🤯

I'm happy with my decisions, I hope they are. 🤔

Beautiful Jennifer. Lovely wisdom and it is never useless to start following.

I did the same, and friends abandoned our friendships.
Family separated into two camps, and the frightened "believers" blocked us from their lives.
Hard to recognize humanity and to Love Thy Neighbor.
Still praying on all of it.
I got threatened by one now-ex acquaintance for sharing government data on Zuckerbook, because "it might convince people on the edge of deciding not to get the shots."

Correct! Well said!
