Li has been embarrassed by the whole Biden/Kamala team. She has seen some of those who are issue oriented rather than party devoted, turn away from the Democrat party. I suspect her new found alliance is sort of a revenge for that embarrassment.
I don't think she is a true believer but she has a following and as long as she uses her knowledge and talents to keep money and voters away from the Ds, I'm good with that.
Influential people like Li at least open a few more eyes as to what the Ds are REALLY all about... that's a good thing. Depriving them of funding is another good thing. Will she stay on our side? Maybe not. Perhaps she's not the "starry-eyed optimist" that she once was. Reality sucks. 😵💫
