The scamdemic is working 100% as P L A N N E D. A vastly dumbed down, perpetually offended, chronically absent population is much easier to control than one than that thinks critically. The Soros/globalist douches are destroying America from within. Anyone who does not or will not SEE that is collecting a check (the scumbag RINOs + communist left) or a useful idiot.

Exactly right. I’ve mentioned before but I’m a long time Ed researcher. This cognitively crippled, educationally deprived , emotionally depressed and reactive population is what the planners want. They are easier to steer . They are angry. They feel victimized . They will do as they are told while simultaneously clamoring for state intervention in all things . All by design . And when they act up and get out of hand like toddlers the state will use their bad behavior as the reason to place boot on neck and justify further totalitarian controls.

Another reason students may not show up is that they are being taught pernicious nonsense when they go to class. The woke DEI educational content is the opposite of education. It sucks logic and knowledge out of their minds and replaces it with preposterous lies. The US Department of Education has to be abolished and education policy completely returned to the states where it belongs. And parents should be able to sue these fake educators for malpractice.

Our once award-winning school district is Exhibit A on that. Blowback on the DEI crap has now morphed into 'Belonging' but it's still the same thing. District is more concerned with feelings, student voice, equity and inclusion than on academics. Despite school-age population growth from ~19,500 to just over 21,000 in the last decade, enrollment has declined by 300 students, from 17,600 to 17,300. Private schools have waitlists and homeschool co-ops are growing. Good, experienced teachers are leaving, recruitment is a huge challenge, and discipline is a growing problem. Neither parents nor the administration has their back on the discipline issues, and some object to this over-emphasis on DEI/CRT vs academics. Suspect the kids who are missing school are doing so to avoid the chaos more than the article's 'don't care' argument. I am part of a group who has worked very hard to try to help conservative school board candidates get elected, but the left is very well funded, and run as moderates until the election is over and too few people pay attention, or vote in local elections. One of the conservatives who we did manage to help get elected in 2022 has pulled her kids from the district due to rampant bullying and is not running again. My kids graduated in 2012 and 13 and was starting to see cracks in the veneer when they were in HS. I would not put my kids in public school today.

Keep up the good work, but this problem has been going on for decades. My father attended Southwest High School in Kansas City when it was one of the top public schools in the country. Thanks to social engineering (bussing) in the 1970s it soon turned into a decadent hellhole and closed decades ago. The DEI crap is just the latest weapon in the never-ending effort to dumb down American children and turn them into compliant slaves.

Part of the Judge Clark $2BN experiment. I love trotting out that example when I hear the handwringing about 'underfunded schools'. KCPS has a third of the students it did in the 70's and half of what it had in 2000. Just under 14K students today unless they have bussed in some illegals.

The absenteeism issue is not specific to the pandemic. In 2002 I was part of a fairly new Federal Agency that was hiring a great many employees. Gee, can you guess? Anyway, it became apparent that we had a tremendous and unanticipated (by management) absenteeism problem. I'm sort of a numbers guy, so I ran the numbers. We averaged at least a 30% absentee rate EVERY DAY. More than a quarter of our workforce called in. It was not always the Usual Suspects like you might imagine. After a bit of analysis we figured out it was the younger set. The 20 and 30 somethings. As soon as they accrued a sick day or a day of leave, they took it. For some reason banking those resources didn't occur to the majority. The older employees were rock solid and showed up when scheduled. We had a fairly limited hiring pool in our area so mass firing wasn't going to work. I did a little research on absenteeism rates world wide and discovered that Finland, on the whole, had the same absenteeism rate that we were experiencing. So I suggested a Finish influence. Management was not amused. In the end we had to adjust our attendance expectations. As I understand it, this was the situation for this agency nationwide. I have often wondered where in lack of commitment was instilled. Couldn't be a cultural thing? Could it?

I see the same where I work.

Absolutely ZERO work ethic.

They fire themselves by going negative on their time.

Of course, there are the good workers, but man, do we see the goofs!

My son is 28 and a production manager overseeing 200 employees in a manufacturing plant. He says he 'can't stand' his generation, as attendance issues and a lack of work ethic is something he battles daily - it's not ALL younger workers, but a big percentage is. I ran a manufacturing organization from 2008-2019 and a survey of our membership on the age of their workforce found our local org was very much on trend with national stats - the average manufacturing employee at the time was 52 years old - some of our member plants had over half of their workers in the Boomer cohort. Young people tend to avoid manufacturing careers as you can't work from home or have flextime - you have to be there, in person, on time every day.

What about K-2 children who were not taught to read by age 6-7. Lost to society as adults. Too many out there already. The Chasm dividing rich and poor, black and White widened. Cannot be fixed with more $$$ to government schools. Dependency, anger, substance abuse, susceptibility to propaganda enhanced. Defeat from within nearly accomplished.

So we have the absent unvaxed military guys. the absent nurses, all of the white conservatives fired from universities, the persecuted and isolated "domestic terrorists", and now the absent schoolchildren. It almost seems like the makings of a new tribe of Americans.

I may fall in this category "the persecuted and isolated "domestic terrorists",". It was truly bizarre to realize that my health education writing online was being labeling terrorism - as long ago as 2011/2013 ish.
