The Federal Grant funding freeze does NOT apply to Medicare or Medicaid
I have had a slew of questions in my office this week regarding the rumors and lies from mainstream media that Trump ended Medicare and Medicaid with his Federal Funding freeze.
The answer is NO. If the television has been telling you they are cutting it, they are not telling you the truth.
Above is a direct copy of the Executive Office of the President stating this. I would encourage everyone to read through the entire executive office list to see that money going to PEOPLE is not being cut.
For those saying that Medicaid was shut down yesterday (Tuesday), the answer is yes, it was, the PORTAL was down due to a website issue. It was back up within 2 hours. It had NOTHING to do with the Executive Order.

I've been seeing people freaking out on zuckerbook about thinking they're going to lose SSDI, Medicaid, school free lunches...
all of them watch mass media Nooz and wouldn't bother to read an executive order to verify what they've been told by Experts.
My speculation was that the reason why the portal went down had to do with so many people checking it to make sure it was working, which led to it going down.
