Sorry all that happened to you. It is disturbing how much harm is caused by the medical system and government. We did need a wakeup.

Thank you. You are very kind. I’ve had to deal with so many issues my entire life I have to believe that it’s karma and i must have been one ugly and mean SOB in my previous life that I’m paying for it now. Not sure if I’m kidding or not, but I’ve spent most of my life dealing with one type of pain and another….and I’m still dealing with it. The biggest reason why I’m okay with what I’ve dealt with is because I came very close to dying from a fractured skull and I didn’t and I’m not in a vegetative state. Like Brian said. "Always look on the bright side of life."

Warm regards.

Peace be with you.

I just started a new book about how chronic pain seems to be a neuro-signaling issue - erroneous messaging, long after an initial problem was present - and it can be reversible with cognitive change rather than needing pain pills or surgery or something. The testamonials from other pain specialists say ~ Every physician needs to read this book. The book is called The Way out, by Alan Gordon, LCSW and Alon Ziv. Alan Gordon is the founder of the Pain Psychology Center. https://www.amazon.com/dp/0593086856

I have had a lot of chronic pain in my life too.

Yes I’ve seen it called chronic regional pain syndrome which I have in one leg. It was explained to me that after so many years of pain the nerves that aren’t supposed to report pain decide to join the party and start reporting it. I also suffer from neuropathy which so far has alluded any treatment.

I have tried cognitive therapy, but the pain interferes with it because it’s just so insidious. I saw a highly recommended behavioral therapist for it, but alas I got no relief. I have one more way of decreasing it and I had success with this device. I had sciatic pain for 10 years and one treatment with it alleviated it and it hasn’t come back in over 13 years.

Interesting link. Increasing aether energy can be healing and a DIY project. I made several dielectric blankets which collect aether and are soothing on achy body parts. It is a Wilhelm Reich design https://www.earth-ocean.info/post/dielectric-orgone-blankets

The chronic pain book was great. I read it cover to cover today. The gist is that mindfulness work when the pain isn't too bad can help the brain to see it as less of a fearful danger and more of the false alarm signal that it really is. Not all pain is a false alarm, but lots more of chronic pain is than currently realized - or treated. He has a few strategies but the gist really is as simple as reducing fear and worry about it. Try to get the brain out of fright/flight mode. The people who have the problem tend to be more worriers or on high alert - trauma background or high stress modern life/work, constant email or phone alerts. From what I have learned in my own study of neuroscience and pain - all that stress alone is creating more hypersensitivity of receptors = more pain more easily.

Topical magnesium sulfate or chloride is critical for my own health and prevention of muscle cramps. Pain can certainly have physical causes too.

Doctors in Europe use the device for many illnesses and diseases with high success instead of saddling patients with life long medications. Of course big pharma isn’t going to allow it to be used here because it would get in the way of their selling their toxic drugs. Invet also sells a therapeutic blanket and I wonder if it’s like the one you linked to? I will look into it. Anything to stop the neuropathy pain. It’s the worst pain I’ve ever experienced and trust me I’ve had some very bad pain. I listen to audio books when I sleep, but if I turn on airplane mode will that make a difference? I’ve done this for years so my mind doesn’t keep going over things I’ve gone over enough. And yes I’m sure that I’m more aware of danger like most abuse people are, but I think I have worked through this enough….especially after both parents have died. Lily Tomlin has a great saying.

"Forgiveness means giving up hope for a better past."

I will look into the book and hopefully it’s on audible. I used an audio hypnosis tape to stop smoking and I was surprised it worked since I was closed minded about it. I listened for a week before I set my quit date and I had less cravings during the week. I had tried quitting before with both physical and psychological issues, but I had none at all when I suddenly stopped smoking. Best $8 I’ve ever spent!

Thanks for the dialogue.

Best wishes to you.

The blanket link is a lap size or whatever size you want really. The layers are cotton batting or fluffy cotton or wool fabric then steel wool stretched out a bit over the entire surface for the metal layer. The metal layer has to be a type of metal that is electrically active and the organic fabric layer stores energy. Encase it in cotton muslin and do not get it wet - the steel wool would rust. I put a cotton pillowcase over mine to help it stay cleaner.

Quilting stores sell organic cotton batting and muslin. Rolls of steel wool are at automotive supply stores. https://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Blocker-Hardware-Kitchen-Pipeline/dp/B0BC7WL1W2/ref=asc_df_B0BC7WL1W2/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=642125796856&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4149041986397056978&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9052937&hvtargid=pla-1943658295180&mcid=28c280acddf73d759f22e1f58d8d5da2&th=1
