Being in TX this feels a little bit like too little too late and being done primarily because we are in an election year. We’ve been screaming for this to be done for YEARS. Not only have they been moving people in steadily for almost 3 years, Alex Jones back in April 2021 showed the facilities going up in Brownsville, the hotels turned over for illegal housing, the unaccompanied children being moved in groups, the illegals w/manilla envelopes coming out of the NGOs processing them etc. It is a huge mess that has been allowed to continue with very little pushback. Even my small central TX town, 20+ miles from the freeway has obvious illegals hanging out in a church parking lot. The consequences of this invasion haven’t even started yet.
Awesome good thing know you Alice, not too far from you. Starting to see them in Kerrville near the downtown square panhandling, usually mamas and their babies. It’s really starting to become apparent in smaller cities like ours now. I believe our population is around 22,000.
My daughter is a schoolteacher here in 4th grade. Many students are not very fluent in English and she says the behavior over the past few years just gets worse and worse. Everything is connected in some way and the American children are suffering as a result combined with the Covid lockdowns etc. Very sad to witness. I am a firm believer that if Texas falls- our nation falls. This is our Alamo.
Totally agree, if we fall it won’t be good for anyone. My parents had friends from AZ that moved to your Kerrville area and they just moved back to AZ because they said the area had a staging point where illegals were flowing through regularly and they were appalled and said the area had started having crime issues. For a time a few years ago they were bringing vans full of people that didn’t speak English (or very badly) to our small town post office and it appeared they were helping them get passports (they even had a photo booth set up so they wouldn’t have to worry about bringing photos). It was so shocking the complaints rolled in and they changed the process to appointment, one at a time, so it isn’t noticeable any more. I wrote Abbott and our reps many times and no one has wanted to take this seriously. I hope this gets momentum and most importantly action!
Wow. What a story you have. It’s going to take all of us citizens in every town to keep others aware of our surroundings. We love going antique shopping in Wimberely, lovely area.
Most people are unaware of the invasion of the US funded by the criminals who run our Federal Government. The lid has been put on this story by the corrupt corporate media and still, even after covid, most people are too lazy to care. How can you not care that the government is replacing you with unskilled foreigners who are looking for handouts? Whatever comes of this, as a country, we deserve it.
NYC has joined with California to give immigrants Medicaid and lots of other benefits that Americans can’t get.
Also have you heard that Bush, Obama and Clinton have an NGO that helps people get to the border and that Biden has funded them with hundreds of millions of dollars? Yeah there is something hinky about the flood of immigrants.
Have you see that a list of R Governors have joined in support for TX/Gov Abbott.
Hopefully, more will soon.
There is also a trucker rally there Jan29th -31st.
I say the Sherrifs should depitize anyone who wants to be, has no criminal record and is willing to uphold the laws to be able to hold illegals for TX DPS.
