For those of us with a more positive outlook on life, it is hard to believe that there can be so many people with such malevolent thoughts. If you doubt me, just peruse the history of Left leaning countries in the 20th Century. USSR, Germany, China, Vietnam, Laos, Romania, Cambodia / Kampuchea, Rwanda, any of the Latin American Meat Packing Glitterati (Yes, I stole that from Pink Floyd), etc. They all killed off roughly one third of their populations after they came into power. When Leftists like Tenacious D tell us who they really are, LISTEN! They want us dead. The life you may end up fighting for may be your own.
I have been too busy with (paid) work to dig into this but a friend reached out to a group of us saying that Libs of Tiktok is 'outing' people in public facing positions who have posted hateful comments about the Trump assassination attempt, and they are looking for help in finding more. The screen shots he shared included 2 public school teachers and an exec from Uber. I sent one of the teacher ones to my friend who lives in Sioux Falls, where one of the teacher posts was from, and she told me this hateful woman had already been fired. Plenty more on their X account.
A peculiar I would say delusional expression of hatred by the Left is to push theories that Trump was not shot - it was a fake event to guarantee his re-election. Or he was grazed intentionally by an expert marksman's near miss. Belies the fact that this would require collaboration by the Secret Service, and demonstrates the angst that Trump haters are experiencing by the certain knowledge that this will put him in the WH.
The imagery of Trump as being incredibly brave and rising above even this assault is really more than the Leftists can stand.
Assuming a 3 inch target the "ear grazed by sharpshooter" theory would require an AR-15 with 1 minute of angle precision fired perfectly during multiple shots fired in rapid succession at 492 feet. No one in their right mind would stand downrange and willingly be the target for this.
