I hesitated to even click on the link, as I hated to give them 'clicks' for that garbage. Funny, still following the approved 'template' - the article read just like the ones that came out 3-4 years ago, with a nod to the CDC, a recommendation to 'test' and 'social distance'. But not one mention of 'experts' - my favorite pet peeve.
Oh really! I don't think he lives in his district either, I've heard he lives in LS but owns property in the 4th district. Guess the voters didn't care, he came out on top in a crowded primary in 2022. I was angry at him for NOT running in the 5th, with his name recognition I think he would have had a shot. In the 4th his race was over at the primary. I am on the Sean Smith team 100% Getting ready to get out and start hitting doors if it ever quits raining. Uphill battle though, the KC machine has a lot more money and organization. Like Freedom Inc and big Labor. And Cleaver is a master at bringing the pork home.
I have heard Alford speak numerous times - he doesn't have much nice to say about them from the end of his tenure, said he got tired of biting his tongue. He would always drop in little passive aggressive comments or make a face at certain remarks the other anchors would say. I didn't watch much but hubby would have it on in the morning as he was checking emails and such, 'for noise' and so would catch snippets here and there. He quit turning it on after Alford left.
Guess they had to try something else... the every 5 year or so, "Avian flu" scare fizzled when they said a guy with "pink eye" was going to succumb to the flu.
Hardly anyone will ever believe them again. (Hopefully)
If you enter ‘Covid Flirt’ into X just about every MSM outlet ran a version of this story. Interesting planned timing, right after we have had some stories about *RARE* side effects, vaccines causing more Covid and even the NYT ran an article about thousands claiming injury and no one listening. Don’t worry, experts assure these permanently injured people it was all coincidence, no way did the vaccine cause their life altering side effects. Of course we revert right back to the disease is worse than any side effects so get that booster! Most concerning are the people still getting these boosters that were demanding a new version be made for the Flirt variants mixed in with those mocking the election year variants. They always use the same play book until it absolutely doesn’t work.
All it has to do is work until the November elections when distancing masking and ballot boxes make their reappearance just in time to keep the swing states blue😭😭😭
And they’re going to keep trying like they did with the stupid fake monkey pox 🙄🙄🙄🙄, next it will be that stupid bird flu they’re planning to release, disease X for which they already have the nasty vaccines ready to launch. I hate them all, I hope they all die painfully
