I got some sort of infection that spread to my neck and sinuses from a quack dental hygienist. I had to go to Urgent Care because I am in my home away from home. The prescribing Nurses were good but at the end of the session after which I revealed no respiratory symptoms one nurse said they want to do the COVID and Flu tests anyway. I said please no if you do not mind. She had already opened one of the packages and was a bit miffed at me. I guess the clinic lost a few dollars.

Well done.

Though, "I said please no if you do not mind".

Could maybe have been a bit less nice towards someone who really, REALLY, by now should know better.

I neither apologize nor say "please".

I simply state a polite "No" and move on.

Yep, testing is as big a problem as the illness. That is what they use to spread fear.

Is the alleged "diagnosis process" described in the article what passes for logic in the medical community? First, we have the sinister bird poop incident. Apparently they stored the poor woman in some sort of sterile isolation shell for the days before and the two days after the dreaded bird poop incident. (Soon to be a Hallmark Christmas Movie!) We know this because NOTHING ELSE was considered. The doctor jumped directly to Avian Flu and that was that. The woman was isolated on the ship. Then, the author admits that this is a third hand story. The Cruise Line (which is NOT named) refused to confirm the story and absolutely no records were produced. Did this incident even happen? I seriously doubt it. If there is a patient with what could be a highly contagious virus on a cruise ship, they Cruise Line wants them OFF THE SHIP.

This story is as credible as the "Wet Market Bat Soup Story". You know whatever they are selling is not in our best interest when they lead with a lie. The pressure will only get more strident and hysterical from here.

Have you noticed the disasters are getting more and more critical? The COVID 19(84) crisis centered on people. We had to mask up, social distance, quarantine in place, and line up (six feet apart) to get our experimental death jabs. This time we will get to do all that but the new twist is we will be starved at the same time. They are going after the food supply. I guess the defeated candidate didn't get her chance to "Federalize" the food supply and inflict a Maoist/Stalinist style famine on the US so this is Plan B. Eggs and chicken are just the tip of the iceberg. They want us dead.

Whenever I remind of the Co*** 6 feet of separation, I always put in parentheses (3 feet in the UK), because, as we all know, the virus was the most intelligent disease in history - it only struck people standing, not sitting in restaurants eating.

True story: at the height of insanity, it was not always easy to find an open restaurant. My sister, brother and I found one on an Indian reservation in Washington, so we met there for lunch.

My brother, who is 6'8", forgot his mask, so he put up his hoodie when he walked in - and staff was ok with that, although they didn't like it when he came out of the restroom and walked back to the table without it up.

Me, I just smiled at everyone and generally acted like I was deaf. I was a much better tipper at establishments which did not complain. Food tasted better, too!

Way to go! I chose to ignore the buffoonery as well. I went about my gig job, visited businesses in public, and drove around as I pleased. No one gave me any grief. The highways were deserted, so that was a plus. I must admit to being delighted when the bank guard told me I would be ejected from the bank if I didn't put on a mask. Something that six months earlier would have resulted in an unfortunate encounter with law enforcement. I know which of my chicken keeping neighbors are planning on quietly ignoring the cull orders. Scrambled eggs for breakfast for me and Mrs. Duct Tape! I plan on ignoring the whole thing this time around as well. And you know it's coming. Because they want us dead.

I raised chickens and ducks for over 20 years. I remember at least 4 "bird flu" scares during that time. I also don't remember ANYONE that I knew or read about having issues in their flock.

Are these crazy people handling, eating or sniffing bird poop? What the hell is wrong with people? Are we so weak and scared of life to jump at the latest crazy shiny object.

I WILL NOT COMPLY with any of their crap. Never did and won't start now.

I remember a coryza scare in chickens in the mid-1960s, but even though I saw a couple cases, we never destroyed the entire hen house!

Evidently, during "the mid-1960s," the government wasn't hot to kill off 2/3 of the population. PLUS the entire population of birds.

Remember that the US consumes 8 BILLION chickens a year. That's a commercial.count and doesn't include small producers and backyard/farm who raise their own. It also doe not include laying hens until the are no linger producing.

A meat bird is read in 7-8 weeks and hens (depending on breed) start laying in 18-20 weeks. I question why they don't just treat the birds. They would need a pause of 2-3 weeks at most but wouldn't have to start over from scratch.

I wonder if the culling doesn't have more to do with commercial houses wanting more money?

So now we just assume bird flu if a bird poops on or around you in the days leading up to your illness. If only they had hand sanitizer too! Can these people get any more insane? And of course the comments on these medical articles are alway crazy. We need testing and a vaccine. Your medical professionals all buying into this BS again. Frankly this entire story sounds made up and they even acknowledge they have no proof any of this happened.

Quick!

Where are my pearls?

With all the FUD they are selling, it's a wonder people are willing to go outside, much less on a cruise or, *gasp* a third-world country!

People are now so afeared of death they have lost all reality.

The sane have soldiered on by neither gasping nor grasping the latest *magic* cure for reality.

Trust in God. Use common sense. Enjoy LIFE!
