Did anyone else kind of ignore the stupidity and just go on with their life? I remember driving on the highway just after the lock downs were put in place. It was like I was Charlton Heston in Omega Man. I was alone out there. I remember getting stopped by the Police a couple of times when I was out and about. I just told them I was on the way to the grocery store and they sent me on my way. At the time I was doing mobile notary work (helping people get deeper into debt by refinancing) and actually going to their homes! Scary! Most folks were happy to see someone still acting like a normal person. If society goes insane again, I'm planning on carrying on as normal. I hope many of you will do the same. Refuse to play the game. It drives the "Karen"s crazy! (With apologies to all my lovely friends named Karen.)

PS. I did find it amusing that one could get in trouble for going into a bank WITHOUT a mask on.

My daughter and I went out to dinner almost every night. The few restaurants that were open had only a few patrons. Yes, highways empty while the rest of the town complied and coward at home. At the ski area, they could only put 2 people on a 6 person chair. That was brilliant, because the remainder of the people were all bunched up waiting for the lift all wearing surgical masks outdoors in the bright sunlight. I could go on, it was all a real head shaker. People showed their true colors, I learned alot.

Good for you and your daughter! We live among sheep. I did sort of enjoy the masking. I do the PTSD thing fairly hard. So having one more thing to hide behind was kind of a treat. In a giggling to myself sort of way. That and wearing masks with "offensive" markings was fun also. My 2nd Amendment mask never failed to bring out the "Karen"s. If the craziness begins again, I intend to find as many ways to poke the easily offended as possible. Yes, I am incorrigible.

when i saw masked drivers in closed autos all alone, i pulled on either of my "special shades" Both plastic full face/hat-hair cartoon-like santa, and/or bob marley.

Both fun ways to poke fun @sheeple.

not fun: being herded in a grocery store by zee harpy clerks under strict orders.
