An eye for an eye ... this asshole should be lynched in the town square. Already released for assaulting a police officer, never should have been out. Good people pay the price for bad people's decisions. Remember, the democrats love this crime wave and are fighting with every ounce of their disgusting being to keep the murderers and rapists in the country and on your streets. That is their base, after all.

I left Kansas City years ago because the writing was on the wall. The political establishment put ideology and racial politics over the safety and welfare of the residents. Many Kansas Citians just moved to the Kansas suburbs to stay safe. For me it was too painful to watch that once-beautiful city descend into chaos so I moved far away. I still run into other fellow former-Kansas Citians and we all shake our heads at the waste and stupidity of it all.

Smart choice my friend. Be glad you didn’t stay. It is really sad how far this city has crumbled. I have been here for 24 years and it is unrecognizable from when I moved here.

How is someone released into the public who is a threat to themselves and others?

Who is "public safety" vetting?

One of their own just suffered the ultimate consequences of someone's incompetence!

Who is responsible? Where does the buck stop?

With competence like this, why does the Department exist?

Is there a Go Fund me? If not, there should be.

So far I have not seen any other fundraisers aside from the t-shirt sales, if one comes up I will be sure to share! ♥️

Agreed there should be a fund, but since Go Fund me took the Canadian Truckers money, I would never trust them again.

I grew up in the Kansas City area and moved away years ago. I used to think KC was a great place with a good quality of living. Incidents like this make me realize that is no longer the case. My heart breaks for the family of the murdered man.

Deep seated evil abounds everywhere which makes this such a horrible tragedy as you pointed out. I’m echoing others whose hearts are broken by the senselessness of this young man’s death. May God save his soul and give great comfort to those who grieve for him.
