Adderall is my friend. It calms me down. Left to its own devices my mind does a constant Ricochet Rabbit imitation. I can’t finish anything I start. As I aged it got worse. Dr. Funtimes has been terrific. She works with me and will actually listen. I’m not used to that. Pay attention VA, I’m talking to you. To the point, the top number on my blood pressure reading rarely has 3 digits and my heart rate hovers around 60. I credit good genes. For me Adderall is a blessing. The artificially (and intentionally created) shortage was a trying time. Thanks Dr. Funtimes.
I totally relate to your comment. It was a miracle drug for me in my 20s through my 40s. But as I get older I only need 5-10 mg a day and some days I skip it altogether. I hope I can taper off even further as time goes on.
Adderall Is so abused. My hairdresser, who is in her 30s and many of her friends, are on Adderall. When there was a shortage they shared pills they were able to obtain. They have no reason to be on it other than they like the weight management aspect and seem to be addicted to the stimulus. There seems to be an addiction aspect. And she didn’t take the Covid shot. It is amazing how many people still take all kinds of medications without a thought to the consequences. Now she is telling me everyone she knows is on the GLP1s, at first they were hesitant but they got past any fears. The pharma cartel has a lot of customers lined up and they don’t seem deterred by any side effects.
We live in an age of idiocracracy.
Who would have thought Americans would have devolved so much, they are rapidly losing the ability to think critically and make critical decisions?
Thanks for sharing this information!

Just stop taking the medication slowly. Turn, off. Tune out. Sleep. Eat well. Hope for the best.
