Behind every corrupt pharmaceutical company is their equally corrupt clinical trial organization who does their dirty work. Today, I bring you ICON, a little known name to people outside of pharmaceutical land, who was knee deep in Pfizer and Moderna getting their injections to market.
Thanks for this interesting insight into the cesspit of big pharma. Your closing paragraph is exactly what was going through my head - how do they sleep at night! I guess the corrosive and corrupting influence of money and power has the ability to shred any strands of humanity left in these people.
The Medical Industrial Complex is engaging in the same approach as large investment funds: holding hands of friendship with those in government and "private" business, in their much acclaimed private/public partnership. The damage done by their conniving is done with our own money, both with individual's investments and government taxes. This worldwide Goliath will indeed need a David to take it down.

They sold us and their neighbors out long, long ago. I contend that, in the covid case, clinical trials or meaningful data from said trials is not required, by law.
The absolute filth and corruption is shockingly huge. I look at people that announce "I work for Pfizer" with disgust - do they not see the madness? You can blame some on mass-formation but the root cause is the love of money - a false idol - they have pushed God to the side and will suffer the consequences - guaranteed.

ICON is actually an Irish company. Laying a blanket over the entire organization is not fair. Some of what they do is questionable, but they have also done much good. Discrediting large CROs is discrediting clinical research entirely. We work with several ICON divisions and the people we interface with are very professional and not politically motivated or motivated by greed. Many in clinical research put QOL for the patient before profit, including my entire company.
Thank you for your reply! Are there good guys in research? Of course there are. Look how many of the “good guys” left the FDA when they could no longer go with the flow of choices made during covid! Look at how many “good guys” were silenced and de-platformed over the last 3 years for expressing scientific evidence that went against the government narrative? All quality and amazing researchers. How is reporting on ICON’s love of government dollars, Bill Gates money, and their role in the covid vaccine trials discrediting all research? It isn’t. That is feeling driven and pride in your personal role. Your reply is probably more so a blanket statement than my post, as my post focused purely on the covid vaccine and their acceptance of financial gain from the likes of the government and Gates. The fast track program with poor testing for safety. The fact that pharma does indeed own the data that companies like ICON provide via clinical trials. The NDA that ICON signs that says if they find something bad that does not benefit their customer, they cannot say anything about it to anyone besides the client. The pharma company (the client) can choose what to do with that info, not ICON.
How do you know that the people you interface with at various ICON divisions are not politically driven? They are just doing the job they are paid to do. I am related to someone who works for ICON. They do not believe anything they do is politically or financially motivated. They truly believe they only do good. Because that is what ICON sells to their employees and their clients. Do you think they would divulge their political and financial motives to potential clients such as yourself and your company? Heck no!
So ethical question for you: if you were doing a clinical trial with ICON, and you discovered something very wrong was happening with the product/device, would you pull the plug and put patient before profit? Based on your compassionate reply above I would guess your answer is yes, patient comes first. But what if that cost you your job? What if it landed you in legal trouble? Would you still do it? I look forward to your reply!
