Did you see the Ford EV plant in Tennessee attempting to eminent domain a bunch of people off of their farm land? All to build a stupid EV vehicle plant. There are not enough WTF’s to go around these days.
Oh yeah. I see this happening all over the place. My home is standard Betsy Ross colonial built in 1974 in a neighborhood much like yours. Two houses have sold in the last 3 months for breathtakingly large sums of money WELL over the real value. These are young couples planning to raise families ( I hope they do ) but I am worried for them as they have extended themselves so much. I do not see them getting their money back ( probably losing $) in the event they have to sell in the future. When I saw the recent announcement from the Biden Admin via Kamala that they were going to offer special DEI loans for “first time homeowners”..I thought ..omg.. here we go again. Its going to be worse this time though. All to get us to the CBDC.

Many weeks ago there was a y/t video by an Australian man. In it he advised all those on variable interest rates to pay one dollar a day extra on their loan. The reason, he said is that variable loan interest calculations are made daily, and added to the previous days total, but, if you pay anything, eg, $1, you will reset the interest to zero. This will save the buyer all interest payments and make any payment come off the principal,... nice!
Of course banks don't like it but you're overpaying $28 per 3 weeks anyway and they can't do anything about it.
I've about nine months to wait before the fixed interest loan, best advice then, goes variable, grumble.
They want people to get caught in rate hikes and destroy their home values with short sales like 2007 08

Oops, typo, should be 4 weeks logically. Some pay every 4 weeks and some, me, pay fortnightly.
