Happy Mother’s Day!!

To all of you mama’s out there, this is your day!!

You have kissed boo boo’s, comforted after a scary bad dream, worried and nursed when your kids were sick, had your heart broken when they had THEIR heart broken…..you have been mad, hurt, and proud, sometimes all at the same time.

Being a mom is one of the greatest jobs on earth. They sacrifice, go without, and do everything they can to make sure their child has a well rounded good life. And then they send them out into the world to be an adult and do amazing things that contribute to the better of our world.

A special happy Mother’s Day to my mom! Lord knows it isn’t easy raising a head strong independent person, but she did it and survived it! And I think she knows now that the head strong pains in the butt end up finding their way and doing things that no one expected they would. I know she is proud. And I wouldn’t be where I am today without her!

Today is a hard day for those who have lost their mamas. It is also a hard day for those who long to be a mama and it has not happened yet. It is an immensely difficult day for mamas who have lost a child. Bittersweet day.
