I was fired from our pediatrics practice in 2002 for asking questions about the MMR. I was concerned about autoimmune diseases because of my family history. I talked to the pediatrician about how the MMR was grown in aborted fetal cells, too. I got a letter stating that we had to leave within 30 days unless my son had taken all recommended vaccines, and they would help me find another practice. I still ended up getting vaccines for my children but at a slower rate and no optional vaccines. Today I probably would not get any for them. There is too much we don’t know.
