What is the New York Times DealBook Summit?

This little shindig has been on the schedule for a bit now, but it is getting more attention in light of the FTX scandal.

So the New York Times has this little event planned for November 30th. It is $2400 per ticket to attend.  They are still taking applications if anyone wants to attend this!  😂

It is billed as bring the most “vital minds” onto a single stage.  People from business, culture, and politics.  They want to be “ground breaking”, “untangling todays problems”, and “connect with other change makers”.   This reeks of the syllabus curriculum bullshit brainwashing from my grad school healthcare policy class.

So who are these vital minds that want to untangle todays problems and be change agents?  Well the speaker list is a mix of scary and appalling.  New York City mayor Eric Adams.  SAM BANKMAN-FRIED.  (Bet he is not going to be showing up to this mastermind problem untangling event, I would guess he’s got a few more pressing problems to untangle on his own plate).  Eric Adams has been a disaster in NYC so far, crime is through the roof, excessive vaccine mandates remain in place, I would argue that he needs to fix his city before attempting to untangle global problems.  Given how he has run his city, I would hardly consider him a “vital mind”.

Other notable vital minds:  CEO of Blackrock Larry Fink.  CEO of Amazon Andy Jassy.  CEO of Netflix Rick Hastings.  CNN host Van Jones.  CEO and President of the New York Times Meredith Kopit Levien.   Mark Zuckerberg the cyborg robot running Meta.  So this group is interesting as well.  Mainstream media and the puppet string holder Blackrock.  The assortment of mainstream media responsible for shoving the same narrative out to people rather than telling the truth.  Amazon?  What brilliant plan do you have after your company grew by billions during covid while shutting down mom and pop businesses?  Amazon packages didn’t risk catching covid but walking into John’s Hardware Store did.  And Zuckerberg?  Don’t we already know that he laid off 11k people due to their stock crashing?  And the billions (or maybe millions) of dollars he funneled to campaign funding? His intentional suppression of anything against the trusted news initiative propaganda news?  What is he going to offer here, how to censor and suppress news and fact check crap?  Corrupt.

The next list of vital minds is even more BIZARRE.  Janet Yellen. Volodymyr Zelensky.  Mike Pence.  One would think that Zelensky is busy with his “war” going on in Ukraine.  Apparently they will take a break that day so he can virtually attend this meeting?  Yellen has denied inflation and trashed our economy, I wouldn’t trust her to invest $5 for me much less “untangle the world problems” or be a “change agent” in anything positive.  Mike Pence……well he has a new book out so is this a publicity tour stop for him?

I broke the attendees up in a very specific way.  You have mainstream media, you have big tech conglomerates, and you have governmental agents.  None of which have done much good for anyone lately.  Yet they are the chosen champions of tackling the worlds problems and being change agents?  Lets be real.  This is a $2400 per ticket event to watch the brainwashing in person and gather more sheep into the corral.  This should be a who who’s list of who belongs in a senate hearing for the corrupt things they have done wrong.  But this is a prime example of how this nonsense spreads far and wide and adds new followers.  Some fresh new grad from SUNY school of journalism will eat this up with a spoon and join the army of destruction in the name of “change agent and problem untangler”.
