Updates from the Brunson SCOTUS case

** 5:30pm edit: today, the SCOTUS updated that the Amicus Briefs were NOT accepted for the case due to them arriving “out of time”. Nothing else reported from conference yesterday.

As we all know, January 6th 2023 was the slated date for the Supreme Court to have conference to decide to go forward or not with this case.

Approximately 100 people gathered in front of SCOTUS on 1-6-23 chanting “take on Brunson”. I am unable to link the video but it was a very patriotic gathering with American Flags flying and passionate pleas to take the case on.

First, a few things happened the week before this case was scheduled to go to conference.  Two other parties filed an Amicus Brief, and another attorney of record was added to the case.  An Amicus Brief is filed by other parties to support the original petitioner with additional evidence; in this case, support of Brunson.

This was written in favor of Brunson, and states that they have evidence that the petitioner can provide to the court that Pence did not uphold his oath of office:

There was some concern that they could not find written evidence that 100+ congress members requested an investigation into election fraud.  It was claimed that it was available on an audio recording.  This Amicus brings forth the evidence that yes, there is written record in congress on 1-6-20 that a request for investigation was made.

These were added to the SCOTUS record December 28-31st 2022.
