**Updated data from the Walgreens tests!

This one evaluates the week leading up to and Memorial Day holiday weekend.  We have seen a positivity increase up to 30% based on Walgreens testing data…..

And, a review of the positivity rates in the ALL ages category.  Remember, this is the positivity percentage among all testers that fall into the various vaccination status categories.

First off, the unvaccinated still cruise at 23% positivity rates. This is up from about 16% positivity rates 6-8 weeks ago.  So not a huge jump.

When you look at the TRIPLE vaccinated though:  They are now at a 60% positivity rate!!!!!  That has jumped ALMOST 20% from 6-8 weeks ago!!

And the double vaccinated?  59%.

Now my favorite 18-44 age group.

Unvaccinated: 24% positivity rate

Triple vaxxed: 68.5% positivity rate! (Holy schnikes)

Double vaxxed: 59.8% positivity rate

I decided to add another group this go round.  The 5-11 age group.  Most of them were not eligible to vaccinate until 5 months ago or so.  So they are truly the most “freshly” vaccinated population out there.  Their numbers are no better.

Unvaccinated: 20% positivity rate

Double vaccinated: 54.6%

Triple vaccinated: 17%.

What I find very interesting about this group is that all the “boostered” are freshly boostered.  The entire population is vaccinated within the last 6 months.  And STILL the unvaccinated population has a much lower positivity rate as a group than the vaccinated do!!  And why are ANY of these kids boostered?!?!?!

I am watching to see when they add the under age 5 vaccine data.  It should appear in the coming weeks.
