They are trying to insinuate that mental health worsens when you have covid…..but the VACCINE will prevent that!

In yet another hog-wash study, they are hypothesizing that having covid makes you more depressed or anxious, but if you are VACCINATED, it can prevent that. The crap they are pedaling here is that covid vaccines give you a WEAKER case of covid (lie) and prevent hospitalization (lie) and therefore by default, lower your risk of depression and anxiety. **eyeroll.
They are comparing rates of depression and anxiety in covid patients from 2020 prior to vaccines against the vaxxed and unvaxxed from 2021 forward.
Here is the deal. You wanna know what year depression and anxiety ramped up rapidly? 2020! And no, that wasn’t among patients who had covid. EVERY age group in my office had horrible depression and anxiety in 2020 from lockdowns, fear mongering, separation from family, parents/grandparents locked in nursing homes, and school shut downs. So taking that set of facts, if any of those patients ended up with covid, I can guarantee you they ALREADY had depression and anxiety and it had nothing to do with catching covid!
I will say that with Delta and Omicron, anxiety was elevated. That was primarily due to the fear of catching covid and being afraid they would end up in the hospital.
But don’t worry……..if you were vaccinated your mental health is protected. Lie. They fail to mention the mental health impact of the vaccines such as fatigue, tiredness, memory loss, forgetfulness, those pesky little things. We have lost the control group, because so many are vaccinated, and have had covid, and their depression and anxiety existed prior to having covid and after having covid. There is a fallacy bias at play because we aren’t counting vaccinated AND had covid plus depression and anxiety.
Good ol’ mainstream media.
A control group might be Amish. They have proven vaccines as a whole have increased autism. The Amish has the least amount of autistic people. Why? No vaccines. I am sure they were minimally affected by COVID physically and mentally.
Newsweek is mostly useless, but I will give them credit for running 2 stories on the lab leak in April 2020 that was the start of one of the many rabbit holes I had plenty of time to go down that year. https://www.newsweek.com/dr-fauci-backed-controversial-wuhan-lab-millions-us-dollars-risky-coronavirus-research-1500741
Even brought up RATG-13, probably the original virus they 'juiced up' https://www.newsweek.com/controversial-wuhan-lab-experiments-that-may-have-started-coronavirus-pandemic-1500503
And my 'depression and anxiety' was 100% from the fact that we had no income. I am self employed and my husband is commission sales, calls on retailers. Concert ticket and festival refunds was our biggest source of income in April 2020. Not knowing when this farce was going to end was worst part of the whole thing. Oh we survived, learned we could live on next to nothing when you have no life. But I will not 'forget'.
