On the morning of July 4th, 2023, US District Judge Terry Doughty issued a massive blow to the Federal Government and their ability to communicate with and censor social media posts. Above is the 7 page decision with all the parties listed (CDC, NIADH, FBI, CIA, White House, etc). The Federal government is NO LONGER able to be in communication with social media agencies and censor content on social media. Remember the twitter files last winter? All of the times that Twitter and their FBI employees flagged and removed posts, twitter accounts, etc? This preliminary injunction puts an end to that. The first amendment and free speech got a major win with this decision. This decision applies to elections, health matters such as covid, and any other posts that the current government regime does not like and wants to suppress. The “trusted news initiative” got a major kick in the balls with this decision today. Their ability to censor and wipe Facebook and Instagram posts, Twitter posts, etc just because they do not like what was said or it goes against their narrative has been removed. They are now forced to resort to their bought and paid for printed news and television news to censor. Their social media censorship influence is bye bye.
