The Human Metapneumovirus is now “filling up ICU’s” across the US

I subscribe to Doximity as a healthcare provider for the ability to use telehealth and their phone dialer system to call patients from my cell phone yet the call appears on their caller ID that it is my office calling them. Doximity is heavily HEAVILY liberal skewed. They send me emails of articles and most are opposite viewpoints of mine, and they always have fantastic ads for pharmaceutical companies so you know who owns them. I came across this article this morning. Link is above.

So apparently this human metapneumovirus was discovered in 2001. I have not heard much if anything about it until the last week. It has suddenly started making the rounds in the news cycles, including mainstream local CBS/NBC affiliates across the country.

This article title itself claims this is a “little known virus”. In 2001, A Dutch group discovered a new virus, human metapneumovirus, abbreviated HMPV or MPV, which turns out to be a leading cause of respiratory infections. HMPV often presents like other common respiratory viruses, with congestion, cough and fever. Odd, why have we not heard about it until now if it was discovered in 2001?

“The U.S. saw a spike in HMPV detections during the first few months of 2023. This trend is similar to the higher-than-normal case rates of respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, and influenza in the fall of 2022 and winter of 2023, likely related to decreased population immunity after two years of wearing face masks and social distancing.” Oh fantastic, there’s more of the same BS that face masking is what makes viruses worse. I won’t beat that dead horse again about facemasking and “immune depletion” because it is a crock of crap.

Moving on.

Here is the fear factor part: they are claiming this was zoonotic jump from an avian flu. “Genetic analysis by several different groups shows that the closest recent ancestor of HMPV is a bird virus, avian metapneumovirus. This is an agricultural pathogen of chickens and turkeys. Evolutionary and genetic analysis suggests that the human virus diverged from the bird virus several hundred years ago. This is an example of a zoonosis: an animal virus that jumps to humans. In this case, HMPV became established as a permanent pathogen of humans. Understanding how HMPV successfully made the leap might help predict which other animal viruses could be capable of transforming into primary human pathogens. The recent H5N1 bird flu outbreak – which has been transmitted to humans only to a limited extent – illustrates this risk.”

Sell the bird flu fear. Next pandemic fear. How can other animal viruses cross over and infect humans blah blah blah.

Heads on a swivel friends. The zoonotic narrative continues, they are priming the fear pump for another zoonotic jump illness. Articles such as this make zoonotic jumping appear normal when it is not. It is likely all lab manipulation of a virus much like “the illness alleged to be covid to deploy a DOD bioweapon injection”.

They will come for us again. Sooner than later. Articles like this keep the fear going and the sleepy sleepers will keep slumbering and trusting this nonsense.
