First off, I agree 100% the politics have NO PLACE in patient care, and I was trained to leave my own personal beliefs at the door when treating a patient. If you share my beliefs, great. If you don’t, great. I will still be giving you the same medical care regardless.
However.
This is the same group of people who did inject politics (literally). The biggest political threat at the bedside isn’t who you voted for, and from my experience never has been. The biggest “political threat” is captured providers who treat based on big pharma. The vaccine pushers. Because that my friends is 100% political. Those are political government entities pushing that agenda. Notice that portion is never mentioned here. They want us to ignore that piece of history from 2021 and beyond. While I thoroughly agree that NO ONE should EVER have less than 100% care from any healthcare provider at any time……this article is missing a big portion of what we truly face. Denial of treatment of chronic pain, denial of Ivermectin, denial of HCQ, acceptance of vaccine refusal…..all of those things are just as important and perhaps more relevant current day.
One other caveat: most of healthcare today is heavily liberal. So I suspect this was written for those providers with a “don’t judge the Trump voting patients” they will be seeing. But I could be wrong.
I agree with you completely, Dr. Brown. The hypocrisy of these people is off the charts.
Couldn’t say it better, too bad critical thinking and ethical behaviour isn’t contageous
