Toby Keith succumbed to gastric adenocarcinoma, or stomach cancer, on February 5th. This interview was done about a month ago by the local Oklahoma City news channel 6. I remember watching this news anchor on TV when I lived there 24 years ago. Toby Keith was to Oklahoma what ice cream is to apple pie. He loved his Oklahoma roots, and did so many things to improve his home state.

He was a favorite of mine, and I won’t lie, “Red Solo Cup” is still in my playlist after all these years. Fly high TK, you were one of the good ones. A life well lived, leaving this earth much too soon.
