Plaxovid has turned into face-plant-ovid.

What is this little gem?!?! Oh a CDC emergency notification? While we can all wish it was about the vaccine, it is about the newest Pfizer sham on the market, Plaxovid. You know, that “miracle cure” for early treatment of Covid. The one under EUA. The one that “all other early treatments were banished and ridiculed because big pharma wanted another payday from their $700 pile of bullshit med that doesn’t work” pill.
A few weeks back I posted about the Reddit forum where people were discussing that post Plaxovid, they were getting sick with covid for a second time, 2-8 days after finishing Plaxovid, and the SECOND round of symptoms were worse than the first symptoms that led to taking Plaxovid. Oh yeah, and they were contagious with the round 2 symptoms and spread it to others in their household. Well, apparently that wasn’t just a few isolated Redditors. The CDC has issued a “well it is still safe and effective BUT…….you might get sick again after taking this”. But no worries, they have a direct link to Pfizer Safety Reporting on the article, so you know, Pfizer can totally gather that safety data. Oh, the data that should have been done BEFORE launch? Kind of like the safety data that should have been released before the vaccine was launched? Sure Pfizer. I am sure you will do something productive with the data reports you get.
I did enjoy the blurb about “some patients in the clinical trial did have a recurrence of covid symptoms”. Uh, really?! Did you EVER REPORT THAT BEFORE? No Pfizer. No you sure did not.
I wanna know who in the heck has covid right now. Because stats here in Kansas City are low low low. I know, for a fact, that one MASSIVE metro hospital has ZERO COVID CASES inpatient right now. Had to close down 2 ICU’s as they are not needed. All agency nurses have been sent packing and not needed. So please tell me who needs Plaxovid? Omicron does not need Plaxovid. Have we all forgotten that when you catch a cold/flu you generally feel like dog crap for a few days and then you get over it? Omicron is the same. I had it in January so I can speak to how not bad it was. Maybe vaccine status makes symptoms worse? I am not vaccinated and I breezed through it easily. Interesting that they would even give Plaxovid to people at this point. Hospitalizations are not happening due to covid around these parts.
