Paxlovid virus rebound occurs in 20% of users

Paxlovid is in the news again. The ACP journal reports that among Paxlovid users, 20% experience virologic rebound (AKA they get sick again with “covid”) versus a 2% virus rebound rate among those with “covid” who did not use Paxlovid.

This begs the question: why use it? Well, because Pharma is making boatloads of money off of it. Gotta trot out that money making horse every chance they get!!!

The Paxlovid group = 72 people and most were older, received more COVID-19 vaccinations, and more commonly had immunosuppression. (Why were they immune suppressed? 🤔). 15 participants taking Paxlovid had viral rebound, versus 1 patient having viral rebound that DID NOT take Paxlovid. Everyone who tested positive again for covid with viral rebound had indeed had 1 negative test before having a positive test occur again.

They also noted that those with viral rebound did indeed shed viral particles, meaning they could indeed share their cooties with other people despite taking the Paxlovid originally.

I think I will skip the Paxlovid.
