Governor DeWine had the opportunity to pass legislation that would have prohibited healthcare providers and pharmacists from facing legal action by their state boards for having a differing opinion on certain treatments. As most of you know, during covid, state boards and licensing boards were integral in shutting down any type of alternative treatments for covid or other illnesses. The threats to revoke licensure was very real. This is why providers refused to prescribe Ivermectin, and why pharmacists refused to fill it. This Ohio bill would have taken the punitive off the table and allowed for dissenting viewpoints. All in the name of healthcare providers and pharmacists wanting to have free speech to treat patients as they deem appropriate, and not necessarily in tandem with the likes of Dr. Fauci and Rochelle Walensky protocols. The Ohio Governor said hell no.
DeWine didn’t see it that way. They threw Dr. Tenpenny under the bus, as an Ohio licensed provider, and used her alternative views about covid shots and treating covid as the pedestal for why “it is just too unsafe to take punitive laws away from the state”. Monkey poop. They just don’t want to lose control as the regulating agencies. We still live in a world where state and federal regulators dictate your healthcare. The state boards are not gonna give a millimeter of latitude if they aren’t legally forced to do so.
Lawsuits against these boards and regulators are very difficult unfortunately.
Whose payroll is he on?
