When the VA FINALLY dropped their misguided masking policy earlier this year, the staff were visibly relieved. I asked a doctor about this. She told me that the VA made it a dismissal level offense to not wear a mask. What's more, it had to be a mask that the VA issued. The kicker was that the masks were in short supply at the VA so the employees were issued one mask every two weeks. The doctor said the masks were unimaginably nasty by the end of the second week and were not preventing the spread of anything. Only a Federal Bureaucracy could create such unsanitary conditions in the name of reducing the spread of infection. And people want MORE government in their lives. Ha Ha.

PS. These are the same people that think the best way to treat pain is to tell the sufferer to pretend it doesn't hurt. There is a special lagoon in the eternal lake of fire reserved for these people.

I went to a dr last October that cycles out of oncology offices and they forced me to put the mask on below my nose to comply even though I explained they caused me anxiety. After sitting in the waiting room for an hour being forced to listen to The View which could not be changed they took my blood pressure and it was 177/96. I explained I can’t tolerate wearing any mask including the paper one they forced on me and the nurse told me to take it off, gave me a few minutes and she took my BP again and it was 119/76. So they told me I didn’t have to wear it anymore. Some of us really do have serious reactions to covering our faces that are measurable right away.
