More fun and fascinating FTX information

As stated last weekend, this is a rapidly evolving and changing situation here.

So update time!

Wow….look at those names named in the lawsuit!  Those are some massive heavy hitting sports names.  Tom Brady?!?  The entire Golden State Warriors organization?  Shaq?!?!?!

So how much money did these “investors” lose in this collapse?  Or were they just paid promoters of this crypto company? There are rumors floating around but I cannot concretely connect the dots with data to support it yet. I am sure more will come out!

Next at bat:  We have the list of Republican campaigns that Ryan Salame, the co-CEO of FTX donated to!!  Remember, he was allegedly a conservative republican supporter while his compadre Sam was an avid democrat supporter.

Interesting that the majority of the donations were exactly $2,900.  I wonder what campaigns got money from Winred, who was donated to MULTIPLE times.  Interesting that the “senate leadership fund” got $2.5 MILLION dollars.  Other notable names that received small donations: Tim Scott, JD Vance, Team Herschel, Ted Budd, and Marco Rubio.  They all got the standard $2900 donation.  American Dream Federal Action received $9 million total.  All total, Salame made 198 donations, mostly small dollar amounts, except for these PAC’s listed above and who knows who they donated to.

They donated to 299 campaign funds.   Notable contributions?  They donated to Lisa Murkowski, a Republican senator from Alaska.  Many state democrat campaigns including Kentucky, Iowa, and Arkansas.  They donated $18 million to the “protect our future” PAC.  Another $6 million to the “House majority PAC”.

Their homepage lists their cause as “protecting us from pandemics because we were woefully not prepared for the 2020 covid pandemic”.

Then there is this website: https://thepostmillennial.com/revealed-disgraced-ftx-crypto-bro-donated-to-six-never-trump-rinos?utm_campaign=64483 Looks like Susan Collins, Ben Sasse, Lisa Murkowski, Bill Cassidy, Richard Burr, and Mitt Romney all received campaign dollars from FTX. Notable here: the republicans they were donating to were all vehemently non-supporters of Trump, so Republican equivalents of a Democrat in their legislative and candidate support. Bankman-Fried also donated $7 million to the PAC named “Trump Lose”. (Again remember, this is a bipartisan issue here…..I am not speaking out as pro Republican or pro Democrat, I am just reporting where money went. Nothing more nothing less. It is all relevant to the deep dive of how corrupt politics are on BOTH sides of the party lines in our country.

SO lets recap.  We discussed a week ago about the money laundering allegation that tax dollars donated to Ukraine were ran through FTX and then back into primarily democrat campaigns.  When did the Ukraine “war” start?  February 2022.  When did this new superPAC ran by Bankman-Fried come on the news scene?  April 2022.  Hmmm.  Pretty new superPAC that is allegedly funded by Ukraine war money that was introduced AFTER we started funneling money TO Ukraine.  And go figure that Hollywood and sports figures are involved in this.  They are paid millions and worshipped by many who follow their sports team.  How many celebrities and athletes have been used to promote social agendas?  How many told us to get a covid vaccine?  Why do we listen to anyone of celebrity status tell us what to do and how to live our lives?!
