In late October the FDA issued a recall for Sun Pharmaceuticals generic version of Vyvanse. It now affects varying lots and all strengths from 10mg-70mg.

In what was possibly the most spectacularly failed generic drug launch of all time, Vyvanse generic now has more issues with capsules that aren’t dissolving in the body properly. The supply chain for generic Vyvanse was already shaky at best. Now it is going to cause massive downstream issues and put pressure on other brand generics such as Adderall and Focalin.

If you take the generic version of Vyvanse, check with your pharmacy to see if your refill is part of the recall.
