The FDA is recalling 7,000 bottles of Cymbalta (Duloxetine) due to a contamination of a nitrosamine or a cancer causing agent in the drug.
Cymbalta is an SNRI class med that is used in psych, but I see it used by primary care way more to treat “chronic pain”.
If you or someone you know takes this drug, they need to take it to their pharmacy and determine if it was filled from a recall lot, and get it replaced ASAP.
THANK YOU.
So gratifying to see the FDA is making certain laboratory quality controls are being scrupulously followed.
I wonder how this oversight was "discovered"?
