Good reminder not to trust anything and filter your water. We’ve always been told Fiji water was one of the best and they just had a recall. They mentioned manganese and bacteria and Amazon purchasers have said there was a visible black substance. They also have a class action starting for microplastics. Another thing to worry about.

I think one should drink distilled water whenever possible. Minerals can come from food. Note: distilled tap water can contain concentrated VOCs (volatile organic compounds) which concentrate in it via the same mechanism in which alcoholic spirits are made. I can confirm this via my own experimentation. So, it is best to run the distilled water through a carbon filter (e.g. Brita) before drinking it. Alternatively, run the tap water through a charcoal filter before distilling it.
