Health Canada issues a warning about masks that contain graphene
Health Canada has issued an advisory and asked distributors to recall masks sold with graphene or biographene in them over potential inhalation risks.
Graphene is comprised of a single layer of carbon atoms and is considered a nanomaterial, meaning it is made of tiny particles, and is reported to have “antiviral and antibacterial properties,”
They discovered that lots of masks were sold for use by adults and children in schools and daycares, and in healthcare settings.
They are issuing a recall due to the dangers of inhalation of graphene and biographene, “inhaled graphene particles had some potential to cause “early lung toxicity” in rats and other animals, but that the potential for people to inhale graphene particles – and the related health risks – are not yet known, and may vary with based on mask design.”
They are reporting that new or unexplained shortness of breath, discomfort or difficulty breathing should be reported immediately if the affected individual used these masks.
Masks save lives, right? 🤦🏼♀️
Another day another reversal.
I may have missed it, did they indicate the rough total % of masks impacted?
Was it the ones that said on the box "Does not stop C19"? The ones that were everywhere, at a time mandates were in place? Maybe the cheap ones that came from the PRC and trumped local production, much like the tests filled with nasty chemicals.
This period, 2016-2024 will be known as 'The Age of Idiocy." Assuming there is someone left to write about it. And someone left to read about it.
Interesting reversal in Switzerland. Without going far enough, it was still a good start.
